Senior Store Transfer Specialist

Sr Store Transfer Specialists are responsible for inventory movement between our DCs, internal departments, and stores. Specialists communicate with internal partners in merchandising, visuals, etc, to coordinate what should arrive at the stores for floor set and biweekly transfers. Work with the new store opening team to determine the schedule and confirmation of product shipping to the store. Work with mock store, photo, and sample room to manifest transfers for internal shipping.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Process store transfers: Process all store stock and customer pick-up orders to the store biweekly. Send confirmation of the product the store should expect to the visual team. Work with visuals to make any changes before finalizing manifest. Build a manifest and communicate with the distribution center's outbound teams. Reassign/scrub locations for warehouse. Confirm all transfers have been sent as expected. Process transfers for new store openings: Confirm delivery schedule for new stores. Check all transfers written for the correct dates. Follow new store logistics SOP for communicating and double-checking transfers. Send pick lists to the warehouse. Validate no open transfers left behind. Confirm final pieces with visuals prior to the store opening day. Process Internal Transfers and DC to DC transfers: Manifest transfers for inventory movement between distribution centers. Work with cross-functional partners in the photo, mock store, and sample room to support
quick turnaround of transfer product. Research failed orders in Manhattan. Relentlessly ensure all requested pieces ship systemically correctly.

 

Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred Years of experience: 2-3 years logistics experience Valid Driver’s license preferred Computer proficiency: Working knowledge of computer programs, Storis, WMS, and Excel Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order processing, picking, and shipping processes and procedures. Dedicated to business and allow flexibility with work hours if necessary
