GENERAL DUTIES:
•    In collaboration with analysts and leaders across the organization, helps solve for data and analytic requirements to enable Children's Hospital to meet the goals of its strategic plans.
•    Will project manage these requests and help lead discussions or communication of findings to senior leaders and, potentially, executives.
•    Manages multiple large projects at one time while continuing to complete ad hoc data analytic assignments.
•    Oversee the overall management of data security, data accuracy, and data accessibility for the organization and ensure the data tools are continually monitored, updated, and corrected when needed.
•    Presents clear and concise data insights, with recommended actions, in a format understood by non-technical clinical and business partners.
•    Creates and presents engaging, high-impact data stories, utilizing narrative, context, and data visualization.
•    Assists information users in understanding relationships between data, processes, and outcomes.
•    Creates informative visualizations that intuitively display large amounts of data and/or complex relationships.
•    Prepares and presents financial and statistical reports and monitors trends and variances.
•    Prepares and presents reports identifying differences between current actual results, budgeted targets, and prior year actual results.
•    Owns reports that occur monthly, quarterly, and annually
•    Prepares documentation for external parties including benchmarking entities
•    Prepares ad hoc financial analyses
•    Prepare existing monthly financial and statistical reports
•    Develops and owns new reports and analyses as needed.
•    Participates in the development and maintenance programming activities with management, other personnel, users, or vendors during all phases of the project life cycle.
•    Adheres to the LCMC/Children's Hospital of New Orleans management processes and participates in daily team stand-up, Iteration planning, and retrospective meetings.
•    Estimates time to complete individual tasks.
•    Accurately communicates status on individual assignments and prioritizes to complete on schedule.
•    Raises any known assignment issues and risks immediately through the appropriate channels.
•    Clearly and appropriately communicates ideas in writing, discussions, and meetings.
•    Identifies the right discussion or meetings in which to communicate an idea, and orchestrates the most appropriate venue and approach to communicate the idea clearly.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Minimum Required: Master’s degree in data science, mathematics, computer science, statistics, engineering, analytics, life sciences, economics, finances, business, or a specific healthcare field.
•    Preferred: 2 years of related healthcare data/work experience may substitute for a Master's Degree.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Minimum Required: 2 years; a master’s may substitute for certain years of experience.
