The position 

As a (Senior) Strategic Project Manager in the Executive Office for Regulatory, Quality & Clinical Reporting (RQ&C) in Development, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic projects that significantly impact our organization, focusing on areas such as process excellence, faster to market, digitalization and compliance. 

 Your main responsibilities will include:  

Drive root cause analysis to define strategic solutions for intricate problems.   Scoping solutions into actionable projects with measurable impact.  Lead transformative projects addressing critical business challenges and setting new industry standards.  Foster collaboration with leaders and key stakeholders to shape the future through strategic decisions.  Lead project resources to deliver ambitious goals, ensuring excellence in scope, time, quality, and budget.  Empower cross-functional project teams with clear direction and purpose, inspiring collective success.

In this role, you will be required to think and act as a trusted and proactive sparring partner to the organization, engaging in strategic challenges. The position is based in Søborg, Denmark, and requires on-site presence. However, a hybrid work model is offered, with the possibility of working from home on some days of the week. 

 

Qualifications  

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:  

An academic degree (BSc/MSc) with experience as a project manager.  Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies and tools.   Strong problem-solving skills with curiosity to understand and dive into problems systematically while focusing on the overall purpose and end goal.  Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.  Experience driving projects in a management consulting setting is an advantage.   Experience in the pharmaceutical or other regulated industry is an advantage.  

On a personal level, you have exceptional leadership and communication skills, you are capable of unifying diverse teams towards a common goal. You are curious and innovative by nature and like to be challenged.  

You possess a collaborative spirit and demonstrate excellence in engaging stakeholders across all organizational levels. Your adeptness at navigating cross-functional landscapes further strengthens your ability to drive impactful projects. 

 

About the department  

The position is part of the Project Management team in Development, RQ&C Executive Office. The department drives strategic cross organizational projects which transform our organization. We act as trusted partners to the leadership team helping them succeed with their strategic aspirations and delivering on critical business needs.  

You will join a high-performing team of around 8 project managers focused on scoping and driving strategic projects, strong stakeholder management and engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and personal development.
