Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist (hybrid)

As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Honeywell, in Bucharest, you will be responsible for Driving Competitive\nCommodity Sourcing Strategies: achieving the lowest Total Cost, enhancing\nproductivity, and optimizing working capital through strategic negotiation,\nplanning, and execution. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from\nhome model.

Key responsibilities:

Manage Site Category and\nCommodity Strategies including spend analysis, Benchmarking, Cost, Market Analysis\nand Global Technology / Economic trendsEnsure Relationship\ndevelopment and management with key Supplier LeadershipsAlign with Site Sales,\nMarketing, Technology, Business, Operations, Finance and Quality and Other\nHoneywell BusinessesManage Supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process,\n Negotiation, Contracting and supplier performance processesImprove Working Capital thru Payment Terms extensions,\n Payment cycle optimization, Vendor Managed Inventories Inventory and Lead\n time reductions

 

Key skills and qualifications:

University graduate in the fields of Manufacturing, Industrial Eng. technology, Chemicals, Electronics or other relevant fields of studyFluent English (fluent German is a plus)Minimum of 4+ years experience in Sourcing and procurement including Chemicals buying, knowledge of Chemicals spend and supply baseSAP and Microsoft Excel skillsProject Management and/or Contract Management Experience
