Join us at razorfish.com. **Overview** The Senior Strategist will play a key role in supporting the Associate Director and VP of Strategy by driving the development, execution, and optimization of strategies across this client's digital channels, including media campaigns, site engagement, and CRM. This role requires a highly analytical and innovative thinker who can work cross-functionally with analytics, media, creative, and CRM teams to deliver impactful, data-driven insights and recommendations. The Senior Strategist will serve as a critical partner to both internal teams and clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives and contributing to the overall success of digital strategies. **Responsibilities** **Strategic Planning & Execution** + Collaborate with analytics teams to track performance across media campaigns, site engagement, identifying opportunities for optimization and improved performance. + Craft and present strategic narratives, creative briefs and POVs + Extract valuable insights from performance data, offering actionable recommendations for strategic adjustments to improve client outcomes. + Serve as a key contributor to the development of strategic plans, from ideation through execution, ensuring alignment with client objectives and the broader digital strategy. + Provide clear and tactical guidance to clients, helping them navigate decisions and align initiatives with business goals. + Support the Associate Director and VP of Strategy in driving the integration of media, site, and CRM efforts, ensuring consistency and alignment across all touchpoints. **Research & Insights** + Conduct independent research and analysis, identifying emerging trends, consumer behaviors, and market opportunities that can inform strategic decision-making. + Use data, industry trends, and insights to uncover potential gaps or areas for improvement within client strategies. + Synthesize complex data into digestible insights, making recommendations that will inform and optimize the overall strategy. **Critical Thinking & Problem Solving** + Challenge assumptions and identify areas for strategic improvement, critically evaluating multiple options and focusing on the most impactful initiatives. + Provide thought leadership during brainstorming and problem-solving sessions, ensuring that strategies are both innovative and rooted in data-driven insights. + Effectively articulate potential solutions to client challenges, helping to guide the team towards actionable resolutions. **Presentation & Storytelling** + Create and present strategic documents, POVs, and client deliverables that are visually compelling and aligned with client objectives. + Develop clear, concise, and error-free presentations, ensuring they effectively communicate complex strategies and insights in a client-ready format. + Modify deliverables based on feedback and ensure a polished final product. **Innovation & Future-Ready Thinking** + Stay ahead of industry trends, innovations, and consumer behavior shifts, identifying new opportunities for client engagement and growth. + Bring fresh, forward-thinking ideas and concepts to the table that can be incorporated into client strategies to stay competitive. **Client Engagement & Business Acumen** + Cultivate meaningful relationships with clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their industry, objectives, and challenges. + Serve as a trusted advisor, continuously adding value in meetings, presentations, and communications. + Challenge client briefs and help shape them to better reflect the true business objectives and strategic priorities. **Cross-Functional Collaboration** + Work closely with media, analytics, creative, and CRM teams to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout strategy execution. + Provide constructive feedback to creative teams, ensuring that creative assets align with strategic goals and the established brief. **Data & Analytics** + Extract valuable insights from performance data and collaborate with analysts to interpret results, making data-driven recommendations for optimization. + Proactively identify trends in site engagement, media campaigns, and CRM performance, using these insights to inform future strategy. **Qualifications** + **Experience** : 5+ years of experience in digital strategy, eCommerce, media planning, or a related field, with a proven track record of executing successful strategies across web and digital touchpoints. + **Data & Analytics** : Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation, KPI definition, and performance optimization. Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.) is a plus. + **Research:** Experience with research design, methods and analysis of both qualitative and quantitative research + **Communication** : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and confidently to both clients and internal teams. + **Problem Solving & Critical Thinking** : Ability to analyze multiple options, challenge assumptions, and make data-driven decisions that align with client goals. + **Innovation** : A passion for staying on top of emerging trends, technologies, and consumer behaviors, with the ability to integrate new ideas into existing strategies. + **Collaboration** : Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with media, creative, and analytics teams, ensuring seamless strategy execution. **Additional information** The Power of One starts with our people! This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
