As a fast-paced, team-oriented organization we are in search of a seasoned professional Sr. Strategy Consultant to join our dynamic team. At Kootenai health we hold a high standard of operations and hope that you will too. As the Sr. Strategy Consultant you will assist our strategy department and executive leadership team in the overall formation, communication, execution, and completion of the organization’s strategic plan.
You will operate as an internal consultant, working directly with executive leadership to assess complex strategic business decisions and serve as an analytical and strategic thought partner to executives to proactively grow and develop service lines and business operating units. Support the modernization and advancement of the healthcare delivery system through developing innovative solutions to complex problems. You will apply healthcare discipline expertise to address strategic and operational priorities. We will count on you to be responsible for providing strategic planning, analysis, and service line planning support to leaders. You will also support our Results Management Office governing complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives from the concept phase through implementation.

What you will do:
Lead the development of executive-chartered initiatives from concept phase through transition to operations using a combination of analytical, project management, change management, facilitation, and business management expertise Participate of the execution of new business units, joint ventures, acquisitions, and services Maintain a strong working knowledge of health care market trends and stay abreast of the evolving health care landscape to serve as a resource for strategic planning activities Conduct strategic assessment and analysis such as environmental scans, competitor analysis, and market opportunity reports Develop relationships, builds credibility, internally and externally, as a trusted advisory and business professional Adapts to and leads others through rapidly changing environments, manages competing priorities, and stays highly organized Facilitate service line strategic planning in support of service line leaders Navigate relationships, authority, and decision-making effectively within a matrixed organization Anticipate problems and takes corrective action prior to completing the task
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree required; in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or similar field preferred Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or similar field, or currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program, required Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in a healthcare setting required Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in project management, strategic planning, and data analytics required Background and experience with hospital operations required
Full Time Exempt Mon-Fri $120K -$144K
