**Role Definition**
Caterpillar Financial is seeking an experienced leader for its Business Excellence team, based in Nashville, TN. The functions under Business Excellence include Enterprise Project & Program Management, Lean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement best practices, and Change Management. This leader will interact regularly with executives and other senior leaders across the company to execute duties associated with strategic initiatives and global best practice standardization and simplification. The change management function is recently being developed in-house and this role requires a leader experienced in working with change management functions and teams as it pertains to strategy execution and delivery of projects and programs. The candidate should have prior experience leading any/all of the functions mentioned above.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Leads and provides direction and guidance for a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to client/customer specifications.
+ Partners with executives, senior leadership and others across the business to manage priorities, product roadmaps and deliver results. Reports results of enterprise program management and business transformation efforts regularly in executive and senior leadership forums
+ Manages and oversees the end-to-end project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, internal client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation for projects of high complexity. Directs and controls all work performed. Reports and escalates progress/issues to Sr. management, as needed.
+ Focuses on continuous improvement, driving out complexity and standardization of processes globally. Enforces this behavior in project management team. Makes recommendations to executive council for global initiatives that drive services growth and simplification strategies
+ Provides leadership and direction for group of professionals including program & project management strategic consultants, change management, continuous improvement and resource allocation/prioritization resources
+ Manages vendor and client relations to ensure that service expectations are developed and met. Maintains regular contact with clients and coordinates and reports on project progress and accomplishments.
+ May provide input for (project) team member performance appraisals. Works with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute the project. May coordinate resources across organizational boundaries.
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required. 10-12 years of total work experience in Project Management preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is preferred. Strong Agile experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
+ Experience leading enterprise program/project management functions in large organizations and proven capability to lead execution and delivery, communicate to executives, and inspire/motivate staff/teams to successful outcomes
+ Experience with implementing change management at organizations experiencing significant transformation and change and leading change management professionals and consultants
+ Experience with agile methodology and implementation of it to help drive prioritization and demand planning/intake of work. Partnership with business units to train, educate, and drive methodology forward. Experience in a product management driven environment is a plus.

**Summary Pay Range:**
$162,696.00 - $260,316.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
