As a Senior Strategy Manager, you will drive and enhance our proactive security strategy and investments through working with large cross-functional teams spanning across TELUS, consistently ensuring that plans are interlocked in a rapidly evolving technology and threat landscape.
Partnering internally within CSO and CIO (Chief Information Office) Capital Management team and with finance business partners to lead Capital management of our CSO business (forecasting, tracking actual performance, identification of risks and mitigation opportunities) Manage Capital Releases to specific project codes as requested by the CSO Managers. Track monthly variances within SAP and RPP and act as interface between the Capital Management team and CSO Managers Interlock with the TBS Capital Team on MLT Capital Leverage your business/ security expertise to craft our short-and long-term strategy, working collaboratively with the Capital Managers across CSO to develop, refine, enhance, and implement Lead and manage CSO capital meetings, including setting the cadence, defining discussion topics, and interlocking with key stakeholders. Ensuring outcomes are communicated and the team remains accountable. Utilize your advanced communication skills to build, develop and maintain executive-ready and team-member-ready level presentations and materials Exercise your project management mind-set and execution of effective practices to proactively manage your portfolio of responsibilities thru longer term thinking, sense of urgency and engagement of required stakeholders, and well-thought out workback plans Using your command of financials and numbers, develop business cases to support new initiatives, building and presenting simplified messages to TELUS executives in both technical and business teams Analyze and report on performance against the quarterly forecast through a KPI framework, including CSO and Director team scorecards Take a living “lessons learned” approach to always improve how we program manage and execute on capital plans to support better performance, tracking, and communication to key stakeholders
