Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.
Ensure implementation of the Company’s Quality Policies, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies, Procedures and Quality Plans is to comply.
Ensure that the work is carried out on site in accordance with the latest approved drawings, approved procedure and specifications at the time of execution.
Participate and support QA/QC Manager and QA/QC Lead to review and approve Contractor/Vendor’s Structural ITP, Structural Fabrication Procedure., etc.
Overall supervision, monitor, witness general construction and structural/piping steel to ensure that, all major activities, progress and quality of the Structural/Piping/Equipment works such as material arrived inspection, material traceability, assembly, erection, dimension, welding, NDT, painting of onshore fabrication, Load-out & Sea-fastening and offshore installation include HUC campaign that to be complied with latest AFC drawing, approved WPS/PQRs, approved procedure and Specification.
Under direction of Chief Inspector, QA/QC Lead and QA/QC Manager to support and work with other Inspector on their role and performance (including Contractor Inspectors and Third-Party Inspectors).
Interface, Coordinate and Liaise with Engineering, Construction as well as Contractor and Vendor for relevant activities.
Provide technical assistance to Lead Structural Engineer and Supervisor in review of detail Shop drawing against AFC drawing.
Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality control activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
Participate in the issue of Site Issue and Non-conformance Report include Disposition or Corrective Action and Preventive Action.
Ensure every work is done according to the approved procedures, codes and regulations and that all necessary documentation is in place.
Maintains good relationships with Contractor and Vendor but being strict to achieve the Project objectives.
Perform other duties that are assigned by QA/QC Manager, QA/QC Lead and Chief Inspector as well.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education:
Must hold a degree of Engineer in Mechanical, Architecture or Equivalent.
Familiar with Quality Assurance & Quality Control Systems.
Hold Valid Certificate: CSWIP 3.2, AWS-SCWI.
Hold Certificates: NDT (ISO 9712, ASNT, PCN) and Painting (NACE, BGAS, PROSIO) are advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional working experience in the oil and gas industry, of which ten (10) years of experience relevant to the role and responsibilities such as Snr. Structural/Welding Inspector, QA/QC Inspector.
Involved in at least five (05) WHP/CPP/LQP include Infield Pipelines during Detail Engineering, Vendor/Supplier, Fabrication, Testing, Installation and Pre-commissioning for both Contractors and Clients.
