This position is based in our Madison, Wisconsin office and may be hybrid, full-time, part-time, or temporary at the candidate's preference. **Roles and Responsibilities** + Perform QA/QC for substation project deliverables to clients across multiple offices. + Ensure POWER quality procedures are followed and that the team is resourced in an optimal manner. + Mentor less experienced staff in substation project execution. **Required Education/Experience** + Ability to function as a Senior Substation Electrical Engineer based in our Madison, Wisconsin office and specializing in QA/QC. + Experience in 15kV through 345kV physical and electrical substation design, and IEEE/ANSI standards. + Experience in managing 5 or more people on a project team. + Experience filling the role of project engineer for several projects occurring concurrently. + The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel. + Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship. **Desired Education/Experience** + Ten or more years experience in utility substation design is preferred. + BSEE (BS in Electrical Engineering) or BSEET (BS in Electrical Engineering Technology) degree, from an accredited university preferably with a power option. + Professional Engineering license (PE). + Experience with - and established positive relationships with - Central region clients. + Experience in 345kV through 500 kV substation design.
