Could This Be For You?The Senior Supervisor, Central Collections Office (CCO) - Remote ensure collections for services provided is accurate, timely and fully documented. Provide efficient cash collection through excellent reimbursement practices while ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and established Hanger policies and compliance programs. Provides strict adherence to adjustment, refund and write-off policies/procedures as outlined in Hanger Clinics Standard Operating Procedures.
Your Impact Maintains database by entering, updating, and retrieving data, as well as formatting and generating reports.Resolves outstanding invoice problems from past due accounts. Responds to inquiries from customers or external collection resources.May place calls or send messages to those with unresolved issues.Review and monitor assigned encounters and all applicable collection reportsReviewing open encounters for collection effortsManaging collection calls and/or on-line resources in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relationsResolves billing problems and rescues accounts receivable delinquency, applying good customer service in a timely mannerCollect customer payments in accordance with payment due datesIdentify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with managementProvide timely follow-upMail correspondence to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accountsEffective communication with Patient Care Clinics related to collection efforts Minimum QualificationsMinimum
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or an ancillary medical field or equivalent experience.Minimum of four years’ experience in healthcare collections and/or four years’ experience in patient care center administration required. Includes one year of supervisory or lead experience.
Preferred
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or an ancillary medical field is preferred.Minimum five years’ experience in healthcare collection and/or five years’ experience in patient care center administration required is preferred. Two years supervisory experience is preferred. Supervising experience in a multi-site environment is preferred.
Additional Success Factors Strong interpersonal skills and supervisory skills.Strong understanding of financial and accounting practices.Able to research, review and comprehend payer policies and collection requirements.Competent knowledge of orthotics and/or prosthetics patient care administration.Required to be proficient in Windows based office technologies (ex. Pay range of $62,500 to $93,700 + annual bonus potential. This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws. Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
