We have an immediate need for a Senior Supervisor, Global Trade. As a Senior Supervisor in Global Trade, you will be responsible for a team that focuses on all aspects of the Raytheon Global Trade and Global Customs Program (training, policies, processes, implementation, classifications & metrics); engaging and developing the classification focal network, program development, classification audit program and continuous improvement. This role will serve as a subject matter expert in Global Trade and must be familiar with both exports and imports. The position requires both a high-level understanding of the products and an intimate knowledge of the regulations surrounding their classification, export and import, including U.S and Non-U.S. regulations as they may apply. Primary Responsibilities:
+ Leading and developing the Global Trade and Global Customs team
+ Provide day to day Global Trade (GT) guidance to a diverse organization
+ Work closely with Operations, Quality, and Core teams to provide strong leadership, governance, and guidance and resolve GT issues
+ Proactively identify compliance risks, conduct/assist audits and development of plans to eliminate/mitigate export risks
+ Lead/facilitate export investigations to ensure root cause is identified and sustained corrective action is put into place to drive down escapes
+ Assist sites in deploying standard work/written procedures for implementation of GT control processes
+ Assist with GT self-assessment process for the site, including continuous improvement, validation, and audit
+ Actively support implementation and sustainment of a compliance program consistent with local (non-U.S.) trade compliance laws and regulations, as applicable, in addition to RTX policy
+ Perform other duties as may be assigned
+ Comply with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring a safe working environment
+ Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture
Qualifications & Experience:
+ A University degree or in absence of a degree, 15 years of relevant experience
+ Minimum 7 years prior relevant experience in roles engaging compliance with the ITAR, EAR, and U.S. sanctions regulations Experience and working knowledge of Canadian Controlled Goods Regulations, U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations, and U.S. Export Administration Regulations is an asset
+ Prior trade compliance knowledge and experience is required
+ Prior experience in classifications is required
+ Knowledge of Canada Customs and Global Affairs Canada regulations is an asset
+ Must be able to work in a quickly changing environment and have the ability to multi task
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at various levels within the organization and outside the Company
+ Strong attention to detail/accuracy

This position involves technologies regulated by the Canadian government’s Controlled Goods Program and the Contract Security Program. In order to obtain the required security clearance, candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada, have resided in Canada for a minimum of five consecutive years, and meet all other program requirements.
