What You Will Do:

The Senior Supervisor, Waste Water Treatment & Hazardous Waste Management will oversee all operations and maintenance activities related to the wastewater treatment facilities and the chem-waste building.

The Senior Supervisor, Waste Water Treatment & Hazardous Waste Management ensures that the facilities comply with regulatory standards, OSHA requirements, and Pratt & Whitney safety requirements. The Senior Supervisor, Waste Water Treatment & Hazardous Waste Management will also be involved in strategic planning, budgeting, and the development and implementation of the division's operational plans.

Manage daily operations and adjusting program activities as necessary to maintain compliance and enhance performance.

Develop, implement, and revise policies and procedures that align with best management practices including: managing the division's budget, conducting evaluations on capital and operational costs, and participating in the design and construction of wastewater treatment/Chem Waste capital projects.

Responsible for staff development, which includes training, counseling, and performance evaluations to ensure adherence to safety and operational standards. Forecast division's needs in terms of budget, staffing, equipment, and contractor services.

Conduct root cause analyses for operational issues and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences and develop emergency management strategies for the division.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years' experience in a municipal wastewater treatment operations environment or closely related industrial environment or an Associate's degree and 7 or more year's experience in a municipal wastewater treatment operations environment or closely related industrial environment

In absence of a degree, a High School Diploma/vocational training and 9 or more year's experience in a municipal wastewater treatment operations environment or closely related industrial environment

Valid Georgia Industrial or Biological Wastewater Treatment Operator license OR Georgia Class 1 Wastewater Treatment license or industrial license.

Demonstrated experience with Resource Recovery and Conservation Act (RCRA) regulations and facility large quantity generator of hazardous waste.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience working as a team lead or in a supervisory capacity

Working knowledge of SCADA and plant automation schemes.

Experience preparing clear and concise comprehensive technical reports.

Experience in financial analysis and reporting.

Understanding of emergency management response, recovery, and prevention techniques.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
