BECOME A SENIOR SUPERVISOR!

Our Senior Supervisor is a critical leadership role that oversees all aspects of airport operations to ensure a seamless experience for passengers. This position involves managing and guiding multiple teams, strategizing operational improvements, and maintaining compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards. You will be responsible for implementing effective procedures, addressing complex logistical challenges, and ensuring consistent customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in staff development, conducting training sessions, and fostering a positive work environment. Additionally, you will work with airline partners, airport authorities, and other stakeholders to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency. 

 

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A SENIOR SUPERVISOR

Ensure the efficient and safe operation of airport services, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols  Provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching to supervisors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement  Monitor and manage staff schedules, workload, and assignments to optimize resource allocation  Conduct regular departmental meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates on airport operations  Train and onboard new supervisors, ensuring they are well-versed in company policies and procedures  Conduct performance evaluations for supervisors and provide constructive feedback for their development  Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance evaluations, and incident reports for the team  Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing measures  Assist in budget preparation and cost control efforts for the department  Ensure that all equipment and vehicles are properly maintained and serviced to prevent downtime  Manage inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to support airport operations  Participate in emergency response and crisis management activities as required  Serve as a key point of contact for senior management, providing updates on department performance, challenges, and recommendations for improvements  May be assigned other duties as required

 

QUALIFICATIONS

18 years of age or older Eligible to work in the United States 5 years of management experience 3 or more years of experience in aviation/distribution Intermediate/Highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook  Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents  Ability to use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices  Effectively communicate both in-person and through electronic means Pass a background check and drug screen  Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable) Ability to work any day/shift, including holidays, within a 24/7 operation
