SENIOR SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/PROFESSIONAL
Summary You will serve as a SENIOR SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/PROFESSIONAL in the Expeditionary Maintenance Center (EXWC) of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 through GS-14. This position has a control point of a GS-12 step 10. Responsibilities You will develop comprehensive planning and programming of the CESE/CEEI maintenance program. You will provide leadership and participate in the development of long range planning activities, including the efforts of cross-functional teams with EXWC departments, TYCOMs and subordinate units. You will serve as Project Manager for EMC special projects in support of high visibility and high impact mission projects for SYSCOM and major reimbursable customers. You will maintain the capability to properly license operators on CESE essential to the support of mission requirements. You will oversee the mobile crane program for EXWC to include sustaining the capability to certify cranes and associated lifting gear, performing the duties as the Command Certifying Official. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 or NT-2 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:): 1) Leading, managing, and/or supervising personnel in providing quality and timely maintenance and support services (i.e., planning, resource management, work induction, execution, and quality assurance); 2) Ensuring material readiness for a Command by finding the best methods and solutions for overhaul and repair of materials; 3) Improving a maintenance program's overall effectiveness by improving complex management processes and systems, including the development of metrics; 4) Leading teams to negotiate effectively with management to persuade them to accept and implement recommendations involving substantial agency resources; and 5) Applying fiscal, contracting, and administrative policies, procedures, and practices to manage and determine the economic feasibility of major acquisitions programs.
