Roles and Responsibilities
Define, manage, and improve sourcing strategies at part family and supplier level. Including the execution of connected flow in line with the decentralized org structure.Manage source changes to new suppliers, including multi-year and multi-site engagements.Absorbs total demand profile from all end items needing roughing processes and translates total demand to a level production schedule within suppliers.In alignment with Site Materials Leaders, collaborates with external S&OP, Forecasting and Product Line teams to highlight and resolve constraints.Analyzes capability and total capacity of the production areas defined.Integrates the management of loop design, input plan, delivery, return store levels, SWIP, and supplier performance.Manage external WIP, commits and recommits from supplierCollaborates with Site Materials teams to define and apply elements of the production system and set pace for upstream supply chain.Leads communication and response to all Suppliers.Developing specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest functional developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Will lead projects that have large scale impact to the business. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Sourcing & Sourcing Management Supervision experience) + Minimum of 5 years of Sourcing & Sourcing Management Supervision experience
