Job Description An ideal Supplier Quality Engineer for this role will be willing to travel 30-50% of the time to Suppliers, Progress Rail Locations, and Vendors in NC, IN, GA, KY, and occasionally Mexico. This role manages quality and development of custom prototype suppliers for rail manufacturing equipment. Skills and Requirements -Bachelors/Associates degree and/or Technical experience. -4+ years of experience with supplier quality in relation to assembly, electrical, or fabrication products. -Knowledge of PPAP/SPAP, control plans, capability analysis, and DFMEA/PFMEA methodology. -Experience within the railroad industry. -Background in automotive quality principles (APQP, AIAG) -Six Sigma knowledge or certification - Knowledge of ERP, statistical measurement capability null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
