What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that purchased products meet overall specifications, quality/regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. You will serve as the key liaison between operations, suppliers, and customers, driving quality and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues
• Analyzing and resolving issues associated with components, assemblies, and materials provided by suppliers
• Leading containment activities and issuing corrective action requests to suppliers
• Creating and assigning inspection plans, attending program corrective action meetings, and using statistical analysis to identify trends
• Hosting quality systems audits, supporting internal corrective action programs, and training inspectors and quality professionals
• Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications:
• This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
• Must have ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Bachelors level degree or higher in STEM and/or equivalent experience/combined education
• In-depth knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures.
• Knowledge and experience conducting Purchase Orders reviews, source inspections, Special Process/QMS surveys, FAI’s, and surveillance at supplier facilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Experienced as a team lead and facilitator with business management skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
Desired Skills:
• STEM degree at bachelors level or higher preferred
• A basic understanding of the MFC SAP and Procure to Pay (P2P) business systems.
• ASQ Certification(s) and/or Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt).
• AS9100 Interpretation and application experience.
• Ability to implement strategy and meet performance goals / objectives.
• Demonstrates leadership attributes including: delivering results, shaping the future, building effective relationships, energizing the team, and modeling personal excellence, integrity, and accountability.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, multi-task and meet
deadlines.
• Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
