Job DescriptionSupply Chain Analyst Senior
GDIT is seeking a Program and Capture Engagement Analyst. Reporting to the Program and Capture Engagement Division Manager, as part of Supply Chain Management (SCM). You will support the Manager by providing analysis, status updates, and troubleshooting as the Manager operates as the primary point of contact for SCM and the GDIT programs, CIO, Sales and business functions (SCM’s “internal customers”). Your primary role is to ensure customer information is analyzed, documented and communicated. Further, you are responsible for collecting and communicating to your Manager and customers updates on supply chain activities including order status.

This work involves performing the following tasks:
Support relationships with internal customers by collecting, analyzing and reporting on their supply chain needs.Become a trusted resource for the internal customer and your Manager including, being present and actively contributing at key internal customer meetings. Conduct demand and resource analyses to determine and communicate the needs of internal customers and SCM’s ability to serve the internal customers on a day-to-day, week-to-week basis, including working directly with each program to update source data and validate analyses. Clearly communicate the needs of the internal customers to SCM’s Strategic Sourcing teams.Assist in managing internal process issues and supplier-related problems, and support the person(s) resolving the issues, including assisting in troubleshooting and expediting, where needed.Obtain, prepare, and present high quality responses to internal customers regarding work in progress by SCM including order status in a timely manner.Provide input on specific processes, tools, and methods in coordination with SCM to provide improved support across SCM’s internal customers.From your analyses and review of customer needs, provide input to key supplier negotiations and performance evaluations.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree +5 years of related industry experience (in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree, an additional 4 years of related industry experience equaling 9 total years of experience).3+ years of corporate supply chain management experience (experience in a Fortune 500 company and Government contractor preferred).Exceptional data analysis capabilities.Strong written and oral communications.Strong customer orientation and desire to resolve obstacles.Some prior exposure to agreement negotiations with suppliers, RFx, strategic sourcing approaches, total cost of ownership strategies, cost containment methodologies, market research, process streamlining, within corporate supply chain management organizations. Exposure to process analysis, issue analysis and resolution.Location: hybridDesired Qualifications:
Exposure to FAR regulatory requirements.Working knowledge of corporate functions such as finance, HR, marketing, sales/capture and programs.Demonstrated ability in issue/problem solving.Exposure to systems, tools and related technology that supports Supply Chain.Efficient in Tableau, Salesforce and PowerPoint.
