Working with customers in auditing customer inventory levels and with internal and external vendors to comply with inventory policies + Fulfill Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements by effectively managing quality assurance documentation. Review supplier Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA), control plans and flow diagrams. + Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. + Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions. + Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels. + Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials, utilities and outside services, as well coordinating global procurement efforts. + Coordinates with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory carrying costs. + Reviews and plans requirements for acceptable inventory. + As required, provide support on special projects and support the Quality Control group at vendor locations. + Daily interface with other Manufacturing Engineers, Design Engineers, Quality Department and Production to provide technical Engineering and Supply Chain **What you bring:** + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. + Ability to interface with individuals, groups, and diverse cultures. + Strong planning and organizational abilities. + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering. + 2-5 years purchasing, supply chain experience ideally gained from an Engineering / Manufacturing environment + A minimum of 2 years Supervisory or Management experience + Advanced knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques, a plus + Working to varied and diverse problems require the identification of issues, that need to be analyzed before selecting solution based on past experiences within area of expertise + Taking ownership and working under minimal direction. **Who We Are** Curtiss-Wright Industrial Division, which includes the legacy brands of Arens Controls, Penny & Giles, PG Drives Technology and Williams Controls, is an excellent supplier in providing components and sub-systems which enable customer specific solutions for on- and off-highway vehicles.
