This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.


Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Supply & Inventory Planner will create long/medium term supply plans while partnering cross functionally to coordinate supply chain execution plans in our Canadian Grain business. In this role, you will monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data, and help coordinate execution across functional work teams. Also, within this role, you will partner with Commercial, Transportation, and Operations stakeholders to ensure our supply chain performance meets our demand customer experience expectations and lead major supply chain projects.

**Winnipeg, Manitoba is the preferred location and relocation may be provided if required. **

Key Accountabilities Collaborate with Commercial, Transportation and Operations team to build and execute plan to efficiently move grain from farm customer to our export customers.   Maintain data relevant to network distribution planning activities including capacity, constraint, logistics, supplier, master, and location data.Develop gap coverage plans during inventory shortages.Identify and execute continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives that drive improved supply chain process maturity.Be able to effectively work with all stakeholders to problem solve and adjust supply chain plans to respond to Supply Chain challenges (i.e. weather events, rail disruptions, etc.)Create requirements plan and long-term supply plan for assigned products and locations as input for the integrated business planning cycle.Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Diploma/certificate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of four years of related work experience. Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada. Preferred Qualifications Six years of experience with at least three in supply and inventory planning.Previous experience supporting grain related businesses.Exposure to data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau.SAP experience.Strong knowledge of Canada grain handling networks.
