Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Support Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure technologies, particularly Azure Data Factory, and be highly proficient in C#.NET development
Location: London
Working model: Hybrid working model (2 or 3 days work from client office)
Shift pattern 9am-5pm and be part of on-call rota from 6PM-8AM possibly once in 3 weeks
. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of client systems, providing maintenance support, and leading a small team of developers within an Agile environment.
This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing support and maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and fixing bugs, and continuously improving client-facing solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate across teams: Communicate effectively with various stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of tasks and issues. Lead support efforts: Provide support for critical systems, handle bug fixes, and ensure continuous improvement. Agile participation: Actively contribute to Scrum ceremonies and follow Agile practices to ensure efficient delivery. Azure expertise: Utilize Azure services, including Azure Data Factory and Azure DevOps, to design, develop, and manage solutions. Problem-solving: Diagnose and resolve complex issues in production environments and improve existing systems. Team leadership: Lead a small support team, ensuring effective task prioritization and timely resolution of support tickets.Mandatory Skills:
Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities to engage with cross-functional teams and clients. Problem-solving: Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills to ensure rapid resolution of issues. Experience in support roles: Previous experience working in a maintenance or support role, with a demonstrated ability to lead small teams. Azure proficiency: Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Services, and Azure DevOps. C#.NET expertise: Proficient in C#.NET and experience building and maintaining Web APIs. Agile experience: Familiar with Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum teams.Nice-to-Have Skills:
Azure Functions: Experience with serverless computing using Azure Functions. CI/CD tools: Familiarity with GitHub Actions and automated deployment pipelines. Cosmos DB: Knowledge of Cosmos DB for NoSQL database management. Data engineering: Experience with Snowflake and Python for data processing and integration. Workflow orchestration: Familiarity with Airflow for scheduling and monitoring workflows. Messaging systems: Knowledge of messaging platforms such as IBM MQ or UC4 (Automic).Qualifications:
Proven experience working with Azure technologies in a support and development capacity. Solid background in C#.NET development, including Web APIs and Azure-based applications. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and optimize systems.
