Senior Surveyor
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our exciting Infrastructure project. Your expertise in surveying, combined with your ability to use advanced technology, will help shape the future of our landscape. You will be responsible for conducting precise field surveys, interpreting data, and ensuring projects align with the necessary specifications and regulations. From setting up survey instruments to interpreting complex data, your contributions will directly influence project success.

Essential Responsibilities:

Complete field survey requests, including measurements, setup, and configuration of survey instruments to ensure precisionEstablish primary and secondary survey control for a variety of projectsInterpret and extrapolate surveying data from construction and design drawings, ensuring full alignment with project specificationsUtilize Total Station and GPS equipment to collect and analyze survey dataCollaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track and meet regulatory standardsTroubleshoot and maintain surveying equipment for optimal performance in the fieldWork in outdoor environments, supporting diverse projects including concrete formwork, structural elements, piling, earthworks, and utilities

Qualifications:

3-5 years of hands-on experience in field surveying, particularly in concrete formwork, structural elements, piling, earthworks, and utilitiesProficiency in using Total Station and GPS equipment with a familiarity with Trimble and Access software – UAV (drone) experience is an assetExperience with Civil3D, Trimble Business Center, and MicroSurvey Star*Net will be considered an assetSelf-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team settingStrong attention to detail with a keen eye for recognizing discrepancies and ensuring the highest quality of work

Compensation

$76,000 - $104,500 annually

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
