Senior Surveyor/Associate - Commercial Valuation

Cushman and Wakefield's Midlands Valuation and Advisory team are looking for an Senior Surveyor/Associate level Surveyor to join their fast growing team. The team advises on a range of sectors including offices, retail, industrial, leisure and motor. We have a prestigious client base which covers institutions, quoted property companies, central Birmingham estates/landowners and numerous banking clients. It also provides advice to a number of local and central government entities.

Responsibilities:

Work on a mix of loan security and regulated purpose valuationsPrepare valuations and strategic advice to a wide variety of clientsTo prepare valuation reports, in various formatsPlay an active role in the development of more junior team membersBe able to take day to day responsibility for execution of instructions under minimum supervisionStart to build contacts and develop a profile in the marketplace to attract new business and develop your careerTo promote the service line to existing and prospective clients

Knowledge and experience:

MRICS qualifiedRegistered ValuerApproximately 3-4 years post professional qualificationCommercial valuation experience, preferably West Midlands biasedFamiliar with Argus Valuation software Analytical skills to be able to draw out market trends and informationExcellent written English and report writing skillsCompetent in Excel and Word Able to build client relationships and create new business
