Responsibilities

The Senior System Analyst works closely with the Department Supervisor to enhance collaboration and productivity within the department by coordinating end-user applications training duties for onboarding DHAI employees. This position provides day to day workflow assignment, knowledge based guidance as needed for Associate System Analysts within the department. Facilitates communication within the team regarding the status of daily tickets and open items also monitoring replies to inquiries received through the department's shared email inboxes, Provides effective communication with Associate System Analysts, Electronic Imaging Technicians, Radiation Oncology System Analyst, Supervisor & Imaging facilities. Leads duties related to system integration, system design and development; project implementation; documentation; and end user training. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor. May be required to occasionally work at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

5 years of moderate technical support experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. Relevant work experience may be substituted for some educational requirements.Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting processes and applying technical solutions to resolve. Demonstrated ability to motivate others to achieve goals. Demonstrated ability to lead others in difficult situations. Strong problem solving skills, ability to manage project tasks and timelines, and analytical ability. Ability to work with and communicate to a diverse work force in all levels of the organization. Strong communication and leadership skills required. Must be able to adapt easily to change and lead others in a team environment. Personal computer based productivity tools. Principles of application, analysis and testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

5+years of information systems experience applying analytical methodologies, with specific experience utilizing an Electronic Medical Record system preferred. Experience working in a clinical environment is preferred. An Associates Degree or Certification in Business Administration or Computer Information Systems preferred.
