The System Engineer is a member of China Innovation and R&D Center, this technical role will lead efforts to design architecture, requirements management, product development management, etc. Individual must be customer focused with a broad understanding of optical, mechanical and electrical systems. Architectural thinking and designing the system in clearly defined modules with well controlled interfaces is essential

Education / 教育背景

Master degree in electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, optics, software, or similar engineering disciplines

Experience / 经验

5+ years working experience in relevant system engineering

Medical industry preferred

Experience of relevant surgical Microscopy or material/bio microscopy strongly preferred

Domain expertise in system engineering practices includes, but not limited below:Structure of complex system structureRequirements managementRisk management, planning, organizing, etc.System development processEngineering design knowledge including system building blocks implementation, requirements deployment, functional analysis and design, component design guidance, design transfer, DFMEA, DF(X), etc.Good experience of critical regulatory, sandards or directives including ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, but not limitedBroad and profound understanding of optical systems, optoelectronics and opto-mechanical is necessary.Ability to work with Marketing and with other engineering groups in resolving design trade-offs.Proven ability to develop, communicate, implement, and execute assigned project including achieving required deliverables on time.Excellent communication (oral and written in English) and teamwork skillsStrong analytic and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

Main Tasks / 主要任务

provide technical direction and leadership to a cross-functional product development team in system architecture and design,work with Marketing and Engineering to define, analyze, detail, and document specifications for tradeoffs, performance, features, controls, and operation of products into a form suitable for product implementation,define product requirements specifications in the cross-functional team environment,lead system integration of the specialist areas of a product,plan and conduct in-depth reviews, testing and verifications/validation of product features, critically analyze and verify system performance through simulation, test, and measurements,contribute to the designs as required; this may include development, verification and validation of opto-mechanical systems,generate documentation of requirements and traceability matrices need to be maintained for regulatory purposes.specify and develop improvements or enhancements to existing products and champion implementation if necessary,mentor junior team members as required,handle other duties as needed.
