Be part of a global team responsible for maintaining Cloud Infrastructure as well as supporting product releases of NetSuite application code. Plan and execute changes to OS, system patching, services, databases, applications, servers, storage and backups in Production data center as well as development environments. Demonstrate ability to learn new technologies and tools. Participate with a Global team in an on-call rotation (including weekends) to support a 24x7/365 production environment. Engineer/assist in developing solutions aligned with Security, Uptime and Performance. Troubleshoot issues relating to change implementation. Execute NetSuite application release-deployment procedures into multiple, geographically dispersed datacenters (including database migrations). Participate in change management/planning meetings with cross functional stakeholders. Participate in Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvements initiatives. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure all release-milestones are met. You will also have opportunities to put on your developer hat for scripting and automation projects to optimize our release-deployment and Cloud Infrastructure maintenance processes. Other responsibilities may include: Managing HW life-cycle, OS provisioning, overseeing scalability and performance tuning, executing backup/restore procedures, disaster recovery, documenting procedures.
