Write the next chapter of your ABB story.Senior System Engineer - Control SystemsWe are looking for a motivated and experienced engineer to take the role as Senior System Engineer in our automation department in Bergen. This position involves system design and configuration of ABB’s control systems. The systems will mainly be based on ABBs 800xA control system. In this position you will be technical responsible for tasks as planning and execution of system engineering activities, testing, site installation and commissioning (onshore and offshore). We have an increasing project volume in our automation department. Projects are mainly related to modification projects and Control System upgrades in the Oil and Gas segment onshore and offshore. Modernizing and streamlining our installed base to ensure stability and efficiency with top technical and long-lasting solutions. Responsibilities:- Planning and execution of engineering activities, testing, site installation and commissioning (onshore and offshore)- Technical responsible for system design, network and setup of control systems- Technical lead for project deliveries- Traveling must be expected
Qualifications for the roleB.Sc / M.Sc. in relevant field (automation, cybernetics, IT, process control or similar)Minimum 5 years relevant experience from Norwegian energy industryStrong computer and network skills are required Good communication skills in English, oral and written. Norwegian is an advantage
