JOB TITLE: Senior-System Engineer

REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St., Dallas, Texas 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

Senior-System Engineer needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Dallas, Texas [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to  maintain QE health through facilitated defect management using standardized triage, defect management and communication processes. Responsible for Centralized Defect and Triage Management for all pre-production test phases and expandable to production phases. Monitor trends and improvement opportunities using Mean Time to Resolution, defect RCAs, and environment downtime as the key performance indicators. Responsible for Daily Defect Review with key program stake holders including dev, test , product and support teams to ensure path forward and reduce defect burn down for all prioritized defects. Monitor and ensure that over all defect processes are aligned to standard one defect process across all test phases and teams. Work as a liaison between dev, test, triage, support and project management to get path forwards on requirement or design gaps. Monitor chats and host working sessions with the impacted teams and escalation process to ensure there is path forward and active investigation on defects until disposition. Establish Standardized Defect Reporting and Dashboards (JIRA and Power BI) to monitor defect burn downs. Review defect details, reproduce steps that led to defect, analyze logs (using standard logging tools), host working sessions with impacted teams, and ensure the defect is assigned to right application owners. Conduct Root Cause analysis for defects and ensure defect is closed under right root cause category. Utilize Azure, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, mS, APIs, and Jenkins. Utilize ALM tools including Jira and Azure DevOps. Work with Test execution tool Zephyr. Utilize Mulesoft - API integration platform. Utilize Jira, Tabaleau, and Power BI dashboard to provide insight.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, or Electrical and Electronic Engineering and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing Azure, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, mS, APIs, and Jenkins; utilizing ALM tools including Jira and Azure DevOps; working with Test execution tool Zephyr; utilizing Mulesoft - API integration platform; and utilizing Jira, Tabaleau, and Power BI dashboard to provide insight.
