We are now looking for a Senior System Power Validation & Applications Engineer in the Datacenter System Engineering Team. Power supplies are the cores of any hardware product. Our power team leads and partners with the industry in developing efficient solutions of density, performance, transient response, manageability, scalability, manufacturability, reliability, security, protection, and cost. You will gain a deep understanding of data center architecture and power requirement of our computing systems, and you will contribute to the overall robustness of integration, system power validation, and management, collaborate with ODM’s in joint development, and debug power system issues of our HGX and DGX products.
Implement datacenter system power validation requirements and permutations of alternates
Perform validation of system power integration and management such as telemetry and protection of HGX/DGX products
Collaborate, provide feasibility analysis, present options and review of ODM power solutions
Manage and execute system power bring up, triage, and debug
Collaborate with power vendors to resolve issues
Design and simulate power solution test platforms
Provide feedback and improvement to future product and power solution roadmap
Work closely with the power design, power validation, system design and system validation teams, and vendors to root cause bugs and issues
BS or MS, in Power Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, or related degree required (or equivalent experience)
5+ relevant years of experience
Proven understanding of power electronics fundamental, with experience in closed-loop control, innovative 48V topologies, high power density architecture, Power Distribution Network (PDN) impedance analysis, power devices, and power management
Deep technical knowledge of telemetry and protection management, design for debugging, security, safety and reliability, and failure analysis
Experience with power circuit design, magnetic design, modeling, failure analysis, performance analysis, bring up, debug, and verification
Proficiency with design & simulation tools, lab equipment setup, and troubleshooting skills
Team-oriented demeanor, excited in solving multi-disciplinary challenges in fast-paced multi-layered environments
Good verbal, written communications skills, organized, team-oriented, effective within management, collaborators, peers, suppliers, and customers
Strong leadership, facilitation, problem-solving, and program management skills are required to be successful in this role

The base salary range is 128,000 USD - 247,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
