As 5G RNL (Radio Network Layer) System Specification Engineer, you are responsible for the concept definition and the specification of requirements for 5G RNL Operability area covering the operability aspects related to 5G-specific applications (ex. 5G RRM). The responsibility also includes the feature-level planning and coordination of specification activities as well as post-specification support in R&D/test activities. 

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology or equivalent education.5+ years experience in mobile network product development (R&D or Specification), test or network engineeringStrong knowledge about mobile network technologies (5G, 4G, SRAN) Knowledge about Operability concepts, including Object ModellingGood Presentation and communication skillsBackground in agile development is a plusLanguage: Fluent written and spoken EnglishGood interpersonal skills and capability to work seamlessly in multi-site environment.Responsible and committed, Analytical, Result-orientedQuality-oriented character

The RNL System Specification Engineer for 5G Radio Network Layer Operability (RNL) is responsible for the following tasks:

Analysis of feature requests and feature user scenarios/storiesDriving pre-study and feasibility studies to investigate solution feasibility for complex featuresSpecification of system level RNL operability requirementsDrive the definition of RAT-specific Object Model Collaboration and coordination with stakeholders (ex. Product Management, R&D, Test teams, Customer support, etc) to discuss technical solutions to customer requirements Contribution to definition of new operability concepts, solutions and improvementsSupport R&D and Test team activities to ensure specified requirements are implemented and testedDrive and support maintenance and quality-related activities for owned featuresSupport customer discussions/workshops, including document preparation and analysis, where RNL operability expertise is needed
