Position Summary To provide IT systems Account to Report (ATR) support for the International region including subject matter expertise over international IT applications primarily SAP. This role will have a significant project support element as well as a focus on the Australia & Pacific (APAC) sub region within international. Working with the existing systems accounting specialists within Controllership, internal and external IT teams and local and International affiliate Finance & Controllership teams, ensure that the business is provided with appropriate systems accounting and ATR systems support to ensure that all USGAAP, local statutory, legal, and fiscal obligations are achieved. Responsibilities IT systems Account to Report (ATR) support for international projects with an APAC focus – Provide business SME support for international processes and for projects such as SAP implementations, new or enhanced functionality or upgrades. Processes and Systems – Review and develop existing systems, tools and processes to ensure; Internal Controls are effective, the integrity of financial information, and that systems processes used by the business are efficient and cost effective Internal Controls – Ensure that internal controls are robust to enable timely detection of fraud and errors and to mitigate the risk of fraud and errors being committed, thereby ensuring the integrity and timeliness of Financial Accounting information and in safeguarding the company assets. Compliance – Ensure that all supported legal entities comply with all external (Statutes, law, fiscal, Local GAAP, US GAAP, SOX) and internal (Corporate policies) requirements. Team - Work collaboratively with EHP Finance & Controllership regional and global management to support corporate initiatives. Proactively participate in the sharing of new/innovative practices that enhances efficiency and effectiveness Specific Accountabilities This position is responsible for international affiliates with a focus on affiliates in the APAC sub region. ATR systems SME for APAC affiliates May also perform additional project work to support corporate initiatives or changes to corporate structure such as acquisitions or disposals. What we are looking for Qualified Chartered or Certified Public Accountant (or local equivalent). Graduate degree with a strong emphasis on Finance, Accounting and Management preferred Significant post qualification experience in a mid to senior level systems accountant role using SAP Exceptional computer literacy essential together with a high level of experience and knowledge of Excel A good level of the English language skills, both orally and in writing. A good level of numeracy and experience performing quantitative and qualitative analysis Solid track record of successful collaboration, communication and influencing at various levels within a multi-national corporation. Critical thinking demonstrated by analytical and systematic approach and solving complex business issues in timely manner Confident/Self Starter with a proactive approach to meeting challenges and overcoming obstacles through assuming full ownership. Results and Business Orientated with focus on internal and external deadlines.
