RBR-Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support one of our customers in Columbia, Maryland.\n

RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nConduct functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability.\nDevelop and document systems administration standard operating procedures.\nMaintain baseline system security according to organizational policies.\nManage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.\nPlan, execute, and verify data redundancy and system recovery procedures.\nInstall, update, and troubleshoot systems and servers.\nComply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures.\nImplement and enforce local network usage policies and procedures.\nManage system and server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.\nMonitor and maintain system and server configurations.\nPerform repairs on faulty system and server hardware.\nTroubleshoot hardware\/software interface and interoperability problems\n\n

REQUIREMENTS\n\nTS\/SCI with polygraph\nBachelor's degree in a technical discipline plus15 years' experience as a System Administrator OR a High School diploma and 20 years' experience as a System Administrator\nExperience with both Windows and Linux\nWindows and Linux patching\nVMware\/ESXi \nNetworking Switch- VLAN setup and VMware virtual NIC config for isolation\nActive Directory configuration and support\nHardware and Operating System troubleshooting\nSTIG hardening recommendations\nUnderstanding of project design within the scope of security (RMF) requirements\nActive DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g. CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)\nAbility to demonstrate cyber\/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving\n\n
