i3 is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator who performs administration of on-site technologies and provides end-to-end solutions for IT Systems. Creates and configures virtual and physical machines in a multi-platform environment. Monitors system performance and addresses any issues through an effective support process.

Responsibilities Provide technical expertise supporting information system components, infrastructure integration and maintenance to satisfy system security requirements for several stakeholders. Provide direct customer service and technical support to local and remote users as required via phone, e-mail, on-line systems and in person. Configure information technology infrastructure in accordance with best practices and DISA STIGs. Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems applicable to the compliance of RMF accreditation packages. Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard information systems, networks and databases. Install software, updates, patches and upgrades. Install, configure and manage Active Directory. Understanding of software configuration management, build, deployment and release management, application lifecycle management, infrastructure, and DevOps tools and processes. Have a customer centric approach and provide all level of support for the technical and cyber team as well as the user base community.  Provide hands-on guidance to programming staff on topics such as branching and merging, workstation configuration, and general use of the tools. Monitor infrastructure for version currency. Work with the data center vendor and the application teams to upgrade servers, operating systems, middleware software, database software, and agency applications. Coordinate OS, middleware, and database patching. Notify affected teams of the upgrade and patching activities. Similarly, work with application teams to identify server needs for new applications. Provides advice and training to end-users and provides mentorship to junior team members. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Additional experience may substitute for degree. 12-17 years of relevant experienceWorking knowledge of current systems and applications. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware conflicts. Be able to quickly adapt to new situations, have a strong commitment to a team environment, maintain a capacity to work with little supervision, and the willingness to learn new technologies. Experience with storage, backup and disaster recovery technologies. MS Windows server installation/configuration experience. Group Policy / Active Directory configuration and management. Experience with PowerShell. Active Directory. Folder permission management. Certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE Certifications: Microsoft MCSE. Knowledge of VMware. Top Secret Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship.
