Position Title: Senior Systems Administrator/Engineer - Endpoint Management

Responsibilities

 

Point of contact and coordinator for endpoint management related tasks coordinating closely with other Global Endpoint Management contacts located in different sites.

Analyze and evaluate existing Ivanti, Intune, GPO, JAMF, etc, configuration and strategy.

Determine and implement best practices for the configuration, administration, and support of existing endpoint tools

Provide installation, configuration and extensive troubleshooting  of endpoint tools.

Diagnose endpoint tools  issues and perform root cause analyses.

Provide assistance in Windows desktop OS deployment and automated build processes.

Design and implement software packaging and patching strategies for windows desktops.

Design and implement business application/packages into the endpoint management tool.

Produce project plans and root cause analysis documents; report progress to management.

Develop partnerships and collaborate with all IT Teams.

Identify and recommend updates, patches and upgrades for deployment across AE.

Manage software distribution including Microsoft Security upgrades and standard desktop software on global basis.

Manage OS patching and support for a small, but growing group of Linux users.

Manage OS patching and support for a small group of Apple Macintosh users.

Prioritize and coordinate security patch and software testing schedules and distributions.

Regularly create, submit and present Endpoint Management   reports and dashboards for updating and appropriate action of concerned team.

 Administer the Endpoint Management Tool keeping  the system running and healthy and available for use.

 

 

 Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

Minimum 5 years' experience in Endpoint Management  Administration, Packaging, and supporting 5000+ users. environments. 

Working experience with Active Directory Group Policy (GPO), Ivanti EPM or equivalent, Intune, JAMF or equivalent to administrate user endpoint and client software configurations.

In-depth working knowledge of the Windows environment with at least 3 years of Windows administration experience and a strong understanding of network concepts

Good written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with non-technical audience and senior management..

Strong interpersonal skills, customer orientation, team interaction/effectiveness, and decision-making skills
