Work where you matter.** **A Brief Overview** Responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of the systems, devices, servers, and client systems. Recommends new technologies and infrastructure upgrades to meet organization needs. Acts as a resource and mentor for other IT staff on technical questions, troubleshooting, and system design. **What you will do** + Helps develop and modify the Avera system architecture, topology and creates the implementation plans for system software and hardware to ensure compatibility and operability. + Helps design methodology and utilizes software and hardware tools to identify, diagnose, and correct problems affecting system performance. + Interacts with vendors and other Avera sites to coordinate the installation, configuration, and use of multi-site systems. + Maintains quality of service by following organization standards and policies. + Implements and maintains complex systems along with monitoring the implementations to assure proper operation and adherence to standards. + Maintains logs and device inventories, as well as appropriate documentation including but not limited to application notes, drawings, and configuration information. + Actively participates in meetings concerning the evaluation and recommendation of system infrastructure designs and components. + Provides assistance and guidance to peers with day-to-day operations of applications and systems that IT supports. + Proactively and effectively communicate changes within the IT infrastructure to all effected parties. + Follow and document strict testing and deployment methodologies for IT Operations. **Essential Qualifications** The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
