Job Duties and Qualifications

Define test and integration strategies for components and subsystems in the development of a Halliburton wireline tool. Collaborate with teams in the US and Singapore, working closely with Engineers, Scientists, and the Project Manager at Halliburton Technology Center in Brazil (HBTC).

Qualifications: Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field (Master’s/Ph.D. preferred). Experience: Experience with embedded systems development/testing in harsh environments (oil & gas, aerospace, defense). Knowledge of Risk Assessment, QFD, FMEA, and reliability tools. Experience defining requirements, specifications, test plans, and procedures. Skilled with lab diagnostic equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power amplifiers, power supplies). Knowledge of hardware development and digital communication protocols (MIL-STD-1553, RS-485, CAN, SPI, I²C). General understanding of firmware development, signal processing, and feedback control. Ability to contribute to firmware and hardware debugging. R&D experience preferred. Strong problem-solving, multitasking, innovation, and ownership. Excellent teamwork, adaptability, critical observation, communication, and writing skills. Fluent in English.
