We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance. This individual will provide system engineering support for large-scale systems, major system elements, and/or interfacing systems. This systems engineering role will have an emphasis on hardware and networks. includes the following responsibilities:
+ Assist the Operations Interface & Sustainment IPT Lead with day-to-day planning and management of activities
+ Assist with overall cost, schedule, and technical performance of the functional team
+ Assist with management, coordination, and risk identification and implementation of assigned programmatic risk reduction activities
+ Provide ASP/ISP Support to include examining existing and current ISP requirements, trends, and future needs with an understanding of how these impact the program ASP functions and performance
+ In concert with the ISP provider, assess, plan, implement, and manage changes to the operational environment; as well as, Government approved changes that may have indirect impacts to services
+ Interface with software development, testing, integration, deployment, and sustainment
+ Coordinate with the ISP to determine what sizing specifications to provide for the design of the ISP without overprescribing the ISP solution
+ Provide input to systems engineering so they can update the modeling and simulation dynamic model to provide information compatible with ISP infrastructure specifications
+ Work with the ISP to update NCL System Sizing Analysis based on incremental Modeling and Simulation results and Volumetric Analysis for four effectivities to determine additional server and cross domain needs

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, InformationTechnology or relevant STEM field or equivalent work experience
+ Must have a Top Secret clearance
+ Must have Cost Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value experience, to assist with overall cost, schedule, and technical performance of the functional team.
+ A combination of the following: Linux , RHCE, RHCSA, LPIC- 1: Linux Administrator, LPIC- 2: Linux Engineer or LPIC- 3: Linux Enterprise Professional Certification
+ Ability to use verbal and written communication skills to present information to a diverse population (technical and non-technical)
+ Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
+ Knowledge of existing server technologies including principles and methods used in obtaining maximum utilization of server technologies
+ Knowledge of multiple specialties such as operating systems, email or database platforms, storage technologies, or hardware support, including knowledge of operating systems
+ Knowledge of Communications and Information Security policies and procedures
+ Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
+ Ability to arrange things or actions in an order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules
+ Experience with update services such as Yum (RHEL flavor)
+ Experience with scripting using bash scripts and programming using Ansible
+ Demonstrated experience working on remote Systems via use of command line
+ Demonstrated experience configuring Linux firewall/routing/networking
+ Hands on experience integrating Linux servers in Active Directory (or using LDAP/Kerberose)
+ Experience installing and configuring basic services including httpd/Apache, ftpd
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Hold a current Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
+ Ability to provide innovative solutions for routine issues and tasks
+ Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies along with Waterfall methodologies
+ Knowledge of theory and practice underlying satellite and LAN/WAN network operations
+ Experience automating OS install processes (using kick start configuration files, preceding configuration files or similar)
+ Scripting experience using Perl, Python or similar advanced scripting languages
+ Willingness to learn and implement Scrum framework, Lean principles, Agile engineering and DevOps
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
