We are actively searching for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer - Ballistic Missile Defense System Design and Specification to join our team! In this role you will get to facilitate the design and specifications of Missile Defense System (MDS) that shape the future of the MDS and respond to Warfighter needs. As the  Senior Systems Engineer, you will... Support the implementation of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) technical program as a top-down development. Facilitate the development of the Phased Implementation Plan (PIP) and System Description Document (SDD) and perform staffing and coordination resulting in baseline approval. Maintain configuration control to the PIP and the SDD(s) ensuring they capture completed missile defense system capabilities. Assist in developing integration requirements as the MDS is a complex system of systems and integration is a major component both within the MDS and across the DoD. Support analysis of MDA plans and budgets with regards to meeting PIP and SDD requirements to include specific delivery timelines. Develop, manage and plan for current and future capabilities as it relates to Design Suitability (system survivability). Work as a member of a local and dispersed team demonstrating excellent teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Utilize tools such as DOORS, Cameo, and MSoSA What you bring to the table... Master's Degree in STEM Field with 20+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Proven expertise in developing and documenting requirements for complex systems and/or System of Systems (SoS). Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to a challenging mission need environment.
