Senior Systems Engineer/Digital Engineer

Join a dynamic team of talented and inspired engineers who support the U.S Army in the development of “system of systems” to ensure integration and interoperability are achieved between cutting edge technologies developed for a full-spectrum, multiple domain operations force. You will interface directly with Government customers and contractor subject matter experts regularly. Support will include assisting leadership in developing concepts and plans to coordinate and synchronize multiple U.S Army development programs. This is a highly fulfilling position which will be integral in providing new capabilities to the U.S Army and joint warfighting community.

This position will require a highly motivated, self-learner who can work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. We are seeking someone with experience in air and missile defense systems, systems engineering, and digital engineering tools/processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for all phases of systems requirements development, conducting independent technical analysis, evaluation, and assessment of system requirements, requirements development, documentation, and verification.Establishes a technical foundation to create on-ramps to rapidly integrate new capabilities, develop program descriptions/plans, and establish integrated roadmaps in support of program priorities.Develop systems analysis and methodologies consistent with technical requirements and reviews recommendations for systems improvement.Review program documentation to include requirements documents, development processes, test plans, and schedules.Support customer meetings to provide information coordination and sharing.Communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients and contractor teammates.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

Knowledge of DoD system engineering and program and project management processes.Experience with air and missile defense systems required. Experience with the joint air and missile defense community preferred.Experience directly supporting a government customer.Knowledge of the latest Digital Engineering and MBSE processes preferred.Knowledge of tools such as DOORS, MagicDraw, and Cameo preferred.Must be highly organized and self-motivated.Have excellent communication skills and thrive working in a dynamic team environment.Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field (Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, etc.) 10+ Years’ Experience. Master’s degree in STEM related field and 7+ years’ experience.Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance.
