Position Overview:

Boeing is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in Albuquerque, NM developing advanced concepts for a new program for the DoD. This position will be joining a multi-disciplined engineering team at the ground floor of a new program developing requirements and working towards an SRR/SFR. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and/or system security domains (e.g., information assurance, anti-tamper, intrusion detection, software protection, software assurance, communications security, encryption and key management, network security, countermeasures, certification and accreditation, special security endorsement) and industry and government guidance and regulations) .

Position Responsibilities:

Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

Knowledge of tasking performed throughout engineering development lifecycle (requirements, design, software, test & integration)

5+ years experience with requirements development, verification, validation, ICDs, risk, issues and opportunities management and/or trade studies

5+ years of experience defining cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls for DoD systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):

5+ years of experience developing test plans and strategies to include cybersecurity

Experience with Cyber assurance testing and vulnerability assessments

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range (level 4): $119,850 - $162,150

Summary pay range (level 5): $147,050 - $198,950

Summary pay range (level 6): $174,250 - $235,750
