Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner working remotely. The ideal candidate will be based in the Greater Calgary, Alberta market.

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team and lead the recruitment efforts across various functions within manufacturing and corporate functions. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. The role could require travel depending on business needs. The expected hours of work will align with standard business hours, with flexibility as needed to accommodate varying time zones or urgent recruitment needs.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent across multiple disciplines including power engineering, mechanical/electrical trades, engineering, sales/business development and support services such as accounting, health and safety, and human resources. Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide strategic guidance on talent acquisition strategies. Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates. Maintain and report on key recruitment metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Ensure a positive candidate experience by managing communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process. Collaborate with HR and other departments to align recruitment efforts with company goals and objectives. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition. Stay updated on all employment-related laws and legislation, including Human Rights and Employment Standards and EEOC. Working with hiring managers to coach and advise on best hiring practices, including interview skills, and appropriate candidate communications. Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of recruitment processes, talent acquisition strategies, and employment laws and regulations. Knowledge of government related programs including wage subsidy programs and immigration related progrms such as work permits and Temporary Foreign Program. Experience recruiting trades/crafts and process operator roles in production/manufacturing facilities. Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and project management abilities, proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools, and excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Abilities: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, and drive recruitment initiatives to successful outcomes.

Education and Experience:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment. Experience with full-cycle recruiting in a corporate or agency environment. Preferred: Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition. Professional certifications such as CPHR, RPR, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.

Working Conditions:

Most of the work will be conducted in hybrid model, with a split between remote and in-office work as needed. Occasional travel may be required to attend career fairs, industry events, or meet with remote teams. The role may involve extended periods of sitting and using a computer. Typical conditions include working indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
