Senior TAR Planner

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior TAR Planner in the oil and gas petrochemical industry to be based in our clients’ offices in Aberdeen, Scotland. This role offers a flexible hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office, 2 days from home. Staff, PAYE or PSC can be considered for this role. This role requires occasional offshore trips therefore valid offshore certification is required.

The role:

The preparation, review and reporting of accurate project schedules and plans in support of the robust control of projects throughout their lifecycle.

Responsible for the development of project schedules and plans, ensuring they are prepared to the required level of detail and accuracy and accordance with contractual requirements and Wood policies, procedures, and standards. The Principal Planner shall be responsible for identifying areas of best practise and driving continuous improvement within the Planning team.

Supports the management and development of the Planning team, the management of project schedules and plans, and the preparation and filing of project planning documentation.

May act as the focal point for several project scopes. May deliver the role as a standalone position or as part of a team as defined by the requirements of the project organisation

We project manage decommissioning scopes like the Shell Brents, we provide skilled people offshore to help our clients get the best out their assets and keep them ahead, we control around 25% of UK gas through the gas processing terminals we have duty holder contracts on., and we introduce the latest digital and decarb tools Wood has to offer making sure we are continuously driving value for clients and keeping making them smarter and faster. We do an awful lot more too and we are growing.
