And all of this, while benefiting from a teleworking formula adapted to each employee.   Join our team, where our Great Place to Work® certification represents our commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive culture for every member of our organization.A look at your benefits You have a permanent, full-time position.You enjoy a flexible schedule, because we recognize the importance of a good work-life balance.You receive 3 weeks of vacation, 4 personal days for unforeseen events, 3 additional days off during the holiday season, and paid Friday afternoons off in July and August.You benefit from a comprehensive group insurance plan, including telemedicine and an employee assistance program.You have access to a group RRSP with employer contributions as well as a short-term incentive plan.You receive free refractive surgery.You become part of one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.Your tasks at a glance Indirect tax compliance for Canada and U.S. TaxResearch and analyze tax issues relating to transactions, determine tax obligations and provide recommendations that will benefit the Group.   Design and streamline internal processes to ensure compliance. Review tax forms and tax returnsContribute to the continuous improvement and automation of tax processes as well as ensuring the accounting system is configured accurately to accommodate the variety of transactions within the organization.Manage tax audits and collaborate with tax authorities. Evaluate U.S. state tax obligations and handle state and local tax issues (SALT).  Collaborate with external tax counsel regarding special mandates. Stay up to date on changes in tax legislation and regulations, and assess and communicate these and their potential impacts to management International Tax Compliance Review and analysis of Group’s cross-border transactions with related entities and the preparation of transfer pricing contemporaneous documentation. Tax impact analysis relating to third party cross-border transactions.  Coordinate with internal and external resources (such as tax advisors and tax authorities) to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner.A clear view of your assets Professional accounting designation (CPA) with a master’s degree in taxationIn-depth tax specialization (CPA Canada In-Depth GST/HST Program) an asset. Minimum of 6 years of experience in indirect and corporate tax compliance.Strong planning and execution skills.Initiative and autonomy are essentialAn excellent team player with solid business judgment and initiative.Experience in the health or medical industry would be an assetProficiency with Tax Prep, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point). You are fluent in French and can also communicate in English, enabling you to interact with unilingual English-speaking colleagues outside Quebec and with the tax authorities outside Quebec
