Senior Tax Analyst
What You'll Do We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Property Tax Compliance team. You will manage complex compliance tasks, preparing and reviewing multi-jurisdictional tax returns, and mentoring junior analysts. The Senior Analyst will help ensure accuracy and contributing to process improvements. You will report to the Manager of Taxation. What Your Responsibilities Will Be Prepare complex property tax returns for multiple jurisdictions. Conduct advanced reconciliations and validate data to ensure compliance accuracy. Help resolve jurisdictional notices and address escalated compliance issues. Mentor junior analysts to enhance their technical and procedural expertise. Contribute to process improvement projects to increase team efficiency. Collaborate with teams to address compliance challenges and align with best practices. Ensure all tasks are completed within deadlines and meet service-level agreements (SLAs). What You'll Need to be Successful 4+ years of experience in property tax compliance or a related field, with expertise in multi-jurisdictional compliance processes. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required. You have knowledge of property tax compliance requirements and multi-jurisdictional regulations. Proficiency in tools and systems for tax compliance, such as Avalara Property Tax (APT). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis. Experience with SaaS-based tax solutions or workflow automation tools. Accounting licensure, like CPA. Knowledge of jurisdiction-specific compliance challenges and regulations. Exposure to managing escalations and complex tax compliance issues.
