Senior Tax Associate position will assist with a wide range of tax issues, including preparing quarterly and annual tax provision calculations, R&D tax credits, sales and use tax issues, income tax returns, property tax compliance, GST and VAT reporting and various audits. The Senior Tax Associate will be responsible for applying tax knowledge and experience to prepare and review specific tax forms, including obtaining and analyzing source data, understanding tax issues, recognizing, and communicating potential risks and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Assist with indirect tax filings (Sales & Use tax, VAT & GST)Assist with Research and Development Credit calculations and supporting documentationAssist with various audits, both indirect and income tax relatedGather management and accounting information as well as submit various tax reportsAssist with preparation of quarterly and annual tax provision calculationsOversee various state tax notices and respond to inquiries from regulatory agenciesPrepare federal and state extension requests and quarterly estimated tax payment calculationsMaintain a tax calendarOther duties as assumed
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Master’s Degree or CPA is a plus)Self-starter with high energy and a positive attitude5+ years of experience in tax complianceExperience with tax provision calculationsExperience with tax return preparation and review, including multistate apportionment and revenue sourcingStrong analytical, verbal communication and tax technical skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordUnderstanding of accounting for income taxesAbility to perform tax research and communicate tax consequences of various operations and positions as well as staying up to date on law changesEffective organization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlinesDemonstrate analytical and problem-solving skillsNetSuite knowledge preferred but not requiredInnovation Lives Here
