Senior Tax Analyst

Position Summary:
Are you passionate about international tax and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic, multinational environment? Join our team as a Senior International Tax Analyst! In this role, you'll maintain tax records, prepare and review federal income tax returns, and handle reporting for foreign subsidiary corporations. You'll also respond to IRS notices, manage special projects, and specialize in the international aspects of U.S. federal income taxes.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior International Tax Analyst, you will:

Prepare and review quarterly tax estimates and U.S. international tax compliance for foreign and domestic entities.Handle quarterly and annual US GAAP and insurance statutory tax accruals, as well as foreign statutory tax accruals.Respond to IRS notices and audit inquiries.Maintain tax depreciation records and prepare income tax-related journal entries.Research and document various technical international and foreign tax issues.Assist in training new employees and developing tax department spreadsheets and software.

Position Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.Certifications: CPA designation required.Experience: At least 5 years of relevant international tax experience, preferably in public accounting and with multinational insurance groups.Skills: Strong understanding of US GAAP tax accounting, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
