**Meaningful Work From Day One:**
The Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for preparing calculations and submitting various monthly and annual tax returns at federal, state, and municipal levels. This role also involves executing and following up on recurring tax compliance projects. The Senior Tax Analyst also ensures statutory corporate tax compliance, manages U.S. GAAP and statutory tax-related accounting entries for the entities, and prepares reports following corporate guidelines.
Scope: Mexico, Panama, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina.
**What You Can Expect:**
+ Prepare monthly and annual returns of direct and indirect taxes following fiscal requirements, ensuring compliance with fiscal laws and regulations.
+ Prepare and file monthly and annual information returns, specifically excise tax (IEPS).
+ Make requests for tax refunds in favor and follow up on the process with tax authorities.
+ Complete statutory calculations for taxable income, current and deferred tax, and the annual tax true-up adjustment, according to the U.S. GAAP.
+ Submit various tax reporting files to Corporate (quarterly and annually), including quarterly forecasts of U.S. GAAP income before taxes and tax expenses.
+ Provide guidance and support to Accounting Analysts on topics related to tax compliance in countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Panama etc.
+ Complete and submit the quarterly corporate tax audit questionnaire.
+ Prepare documentation in response to tax authority requests and follow up on tax authority requirements.
+ Prepare information for tax audits (internal and external) and collaborate on reviews to ensure a successful outcome.
+ Provide support and guidance to various areas of the organization regarding tax compliance guidelines.
+ Support requests for tax stamps (marbete fiscal) working with the Production Planning and Import/Export teams.
+ Supplier administration for REPSE registration, management and control of labor, tax and social security information and documentation.
+ Lead and support management in implementing new projects related to tax compliance or derived from legal reforms that impact our industry.
+ Seek out and implement improvements and technological changes for internal processes related to the tax area.
**What You Bring to the Table:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
+ Minimum of 3-5 years in a similar position within a corporate tax department.
+ Public accounting experience.
+ Experience with US GAAP and MEX GAAP.
+ Technical expertise in income tax, VAT, excise taxes, social security, state, and municipal taxes.
+ Strong analytical thinking and proven leadership skills.
+ Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team.
