Position Summary:

The nation's largest energy company is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join their team. This position will operate on a 100% remote work schedule.

Responsibilities:

Analyze information and prepare position summaries while collaborating or engaging in discussions with state and local tax authorities during audits or reviews.Resolve complex technical matters related to tax filings and compliance, as well as supporting tax planning efforts.Contribute to the development and execution of intricate state and local tax strategies, addressing a variety of related challenges.Examine supporting documents, calculations, correspondence, and filings to ensure alignment with tax regulations and accurate reporting for state income taxes.Conducts in-depth research into state tax topics to determine the optimal and compliant course of action.Leverage expertise in state and local tax regulations to identify and explore opportunities to enhance the organization's tax efficiency.

Qualifications:
