What is the opportunity?
This role will support RBC Investor Services (IS) where the incumbent will be required to provide consulting and information-sharing tax services for the organization and ensure that all appropriate tax regulations are followed. The incumbent will need to apply their experience and seasoned knowledge, skills, and practices to perform a variety of assignments.
What will you do?
Responsible for maintaining the shareholder tax records of various Fund Companies, and providing reporting in accordance with government policies, tax laws and national/provincial policiesResponsible for accurate and timely production of all unitholder Tax reportingResponsible for remittance of withholding taxes to the government agencies in a timely manner according to due dates required by CRAMonitor and apply all CRA shareholder taxation requirementsMonitor all tax reports and inform appropriate teams of any discrepancies and ask for resolutionReconcile all income distributionsWork with various teams to clear rec. itemsWork with other teams within organization to improve Operating Procedures for tax processesWork towards improving our tax reporting to shareholders, fund managers and CRABalance and input allocation factors for the shareholders tax slipsWhat do you need to succeed?
Must have:
3+ years of relevant experience in Banking/Financial ServicesKnowledge of Unitrax record keeping systemKnowledge of PC applications such as Word and ExcelExperience with Unitrax and Trust an assetWhat’s in it for you?
